The lab evidence behind the CE mark. All seven series are tested for emissions and immunity — the wall must not interfere with other equipment, and must keep running in a room full of radios, dimmers and switchers. LED Film goes further with a full LVD (Low Voltage Directive) test report alongside its EMC report. The test report is the document your client’s compliance team actually reads, and we send it alongside the certificate.

Six series ship with RoHS documentation. Directive 2011/65/EU restricts lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBBs and PBDEs. We hold it for COB Pro, Block, Brick, Square 1000, Square 960 and LED Film, and maintain supplier declarations for every component batch — LED chips, solder, PCB substrates, plastics.

Square 1000 and Square 960 are CB-certified. Under the IECEE CB Scheme both outdoor series are tested to IEC 62368-1, the international safety standard for audio/video and ICT equipment. A CB test report is accepted for national certification across member countries, so you are not repeating safety testing in every territory you ship to.

The document rental customers ask for and rarely get. A TÜV tensile (pull) test report on the Matrix 500 cabinet hardware — the rigging points and load-bearing connections — with measured failure loads rather than a nominal rating. For touring and flown installations, this is what lets a venue’s structural engineer sign off on the hang, and it is why Matrix 500 is the series we recommend for flown work.

For creative and custom builds we can arrange CE and EMC testing when a project requires it — the testing cost is carried by the customer. Ask at RFQ stage and we build the testing window into the schedule.

IQC

In-Process Quality Control. Every 2 hours during production, the QC engineer pulls samples. LED alignment under microscope. Solder joint verification. Colour consistency measured with a spectrometer. A sample failure pauses the line until the root cause is identified.
OQC
Outgoing Quality Control. Per-panel pixel test on every unit — not batch sampling. Calibrated camera array detects dead pixels, flicker and colour shift. Brightness uniformity mapped across the full surface. A single dead pixel in the central zone triggers rework.
These three gates are part of an 8-step production process. Each step has an owner, a quality checkpoint, and a handoff.

Every shipment includes a QC documentation pack — IQC batch inspection report, IPQC sampling log, aging test data (temperature and current draw per panel), and OQC pixel test results. You don’t have to ask for it; it’s in the crate. If you want a preview before ordering, request a pack from a recent shipment.
Video call us and watch QC happen.
Open WhatsApp, start a video call. An engineer points the camera at the aging racks with panels running burn-in cycles, then the QC station with the pixel-test camera array, then the packing area with crates being assembled. Fifteen minutes, zero staging. If a factory won’t let you do this, ask yourself why.

Where a project or a destination market requires testing beyond our ready documents, we arrange it against the frozen configuration — CE and EMC for creative and custom builds (circular, sphere, cube, ring, cylinder or bespoke geometry), and accredited NRTL testing for North American projects that require a safety listing, typically 8–10 weeks after layout lock. Our 15-person engineering team handles documentation, sample preparation and lab coordination.
